Casa Atelier „Gabriel Popescu”

The entire artistic and pedagogical activity carried out by the engraver Gabriel Popescu (1866-1937), the founder of the engraving school in Romania, professor at the National School of Fine Arts in Bucharest, is included and illustrated by the exhibits from the Vulcana-Pandele museum.
The workshop house of the engraver Gabriel Popescu is the only one of its kind in Romania. It was opened to the public in 1972, restored in 2016 and presents the life and work of this great engraver of the country.
